Tom Kapinos: The Mind Behind Californication And More

Tom Kapinos is a talented producer best known for his work on the popular TV series Californication. He was born in 1969 and grew up in Levittown, New York. Kapinos attended Island Trees High School, graduating in 1987.

After high school, Kapinos went on to pursue his passion for storytelling at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. He graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema and Television. His early work included writing for the popular sitcom “The Trouble With Larry” and later the cult classic “Party of Five”.
